“JACKIE” - SENIOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Jackie has many years of sales experience on her side, but was unable to connect the puzzle pieces to make her sales story coherent and impressive. After being abruptly laid off from a company she loved due to its closing, she had lost her confidence and was struggling to return to her former sales glory.

Simone was faced with the rare challenge of never experiencing a job search. Now faced with a pending job search, Simone had no idea how to showcase 15 years of impact. The challenge for me was to showcase the many hats she’d worn without making the document overwhelming and confusing.

Through many branding roadmap sessions, we discussed what business challenges she was faced with and the step-by-step strategies she took to turn the company around and compete with major retail brands.

Simone not only introduced the company to the importance of analytics to drive product development and track market trends, but due to her success as the VP of Global Analytics, she was asked to take over as CFO. She favored more of a modern classic résumé, free of heavy design elements.

I wanted to focus on the big picture and include what she was faced with when entering the role to show her powerful arc of success before moving onto a new role. I wanted to show why she was promoted 8 times in 15 years and allow the reader to take that journey.
